Come to the South Island of New Zealand and hunt with Awatere Safari for mature Tahr bulls. This is a 4x4 and foot hunt but a helicopter can be utilized for drop offs and pick ups high in the mountains. Optional helicopter is estimated at $2,500. Tahr can be hunted year round but May to September is optimal for best pelts. This hunt can be upgraded to include: Chamois, Red Stag, Fallow Deer and Ram. Come hike the beautiful Alps of New Zealand and see the world above the clouds.
