10 Day Hunt for Yakuita Snow Sheep with Sonor Hunting
Transferable to 2022 if necessary due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Hunting season: August-September
Over 6 years of hunting we proudly can sum up that all hunts were 100% lucky, very good trophies were obtained.
Duration: 10 days, including 2 transfer days (the way from Yakutsk to the base camp and back). *May be shortened in the case of a successful hunt.
*The average statistical duration of hunting for 6 years of operation is 3 days. The maximum allowable period of 10 days is laid down for insurance against undesirable weather conditions (rain, fog, strong wind) and force majeure events.
Route: Yakutsk – Khandyga – Hunting Territories (Tomponsky district) – Khandyga – Yakutsk
To get to the hunting area, you must first get to the city of Yakutsk (if you are flying from Moscow, the flight time to Yakutsk is about 7 hours). The road from Yakutsk with 2 river crossings is carried out by car and takes about 12 hours. Arrival at the base camp expected in the evening.
Base camp:
Our hunting territory is located 650 km eastern from Yakutsk, with the total area of 632000 hectares along “Sette Daban” Mountains, in East Yakutia.
On the area settled base camp consists of specially equipped tents for inhabiting hunters and employees. The camp is located in a beautiful valley of a mountain river at an altitude of 1100 m above sea level. It is equipped with a special kitchen for cooking food, utility block, toilets and a sauna. For communication
satellite Internet with wi-fi is set up in the camp. For emergency situations or communication in the mountains a satellite phone is used.
The organizers provide 3 meals a day - breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are prepared on a regular basis. The menu is standard: porridge, roast, soups, salads, canned food, sweets, vegetables, nuts, cheeses, flour products - dishes of Russian and local cuisine.
Any additional changes to the menu can be made in advance. The camp is also equipped with medicines and everything necessary for emergency medical care.
Hunting:
Before the clients arrival the outfitter’s team thoroughly examines the area in advance for the presence of a trophy. If the trophy is determined, the hunter, accompanied by guides, climbs the mountain and makes a shot, the shooting range is from 200 to 500m. During the ascent, the physical and age conditions of the hunter are taken into account, so the constant support and assistance are provided. Video and photographing are carried out.
During the hunt, the team can use temporary camps for overnight stays, which are set up at an altitude of 1300-1500 m in the mountains, from where hiking trips of 5-7 km along the ridge are made.
Calendar:
Day 1: Arrival in Yakutsk, meeting, transfer Yakutsk-Khandyga-Base camp, which is carried out on Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs. The total duration of the trip is approximately 12-14 hours, including two ferry crossings on the Lena and Aldan rivers. The total length of the road is about 650 km., meal is taken in roadside cafes.
Day 2-9: accommodation in the base camp, exploration, hunting.
Day 10: departure to Yakutsk, hotel accommodation, departure.
*If you arrive in Russia via Moscow, the company organizes a meeting in Moscow, assistance in hotel accommodation, escort and departure at the airport.
*Direct flights from Moscow to Yakutsk are usually made in the evening, you arrive in Yakutsk in the morning of the next day.
*the calendar can be changed +1/-1 day due to the flight schedule.

ONLINE PURCHASE SHIPPING: A purchase of any item online that requires shipping will be fully at the expense of the purchaser. Any customs, duty or shipping charges will be borne fully by the buyer. Arrangement for shipping will be made by WSSBC through Canada Post where shipping permits, otherwise through one of our designated courier services. The buyer does have the right to arrange for their own shipping however there may be a handling fee issued by WSSBC

The Wild Sheep Society of BC (WSSBC) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals and/or companies.
Any bid made at a WSSBC auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table after the evening auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
PERMIT BUYER’S PREMIUM: A minimum of $150 or, when greater, a 5% buyer’s premium will be added to the final bid price of the online purchases. THESE ARE NOTED IN RED IN THE AUCTION DESCRIPTION. Proceeds will be dedicated to WSSBC Conservation Initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a minimum of $150 or, when greater, a 5% buyer’s premium.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from WSSBC Auction Team for verification.

FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws.

All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of WSSBC. WSSBC provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WSSBC does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WSSBC. WSSBC shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WSSBC cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States.
