This is a 14-day leopard hunt at one of Horn & Tusk’s outfitter locations in southern Zimbabwe. This hunt will be conducted in classic style, from a concealed blind over active baits. Night hunting is legal in Zimbabwe, so the hunter should be prepared to spend the night in the blind, waiting for the leopard's arrival. Leopard populations in our outfitter's concessions are outstanding, with large mature toms taken every season. While there is no guarantee of a successful harvest, our outfitter ensures that the hunt will be conducted in an organized and professional manner, with a relentless commitment from the entire hunting staff. This hunt can be done with dogs, but with ample planning. Any associated costs for hunting with dogs will be the responsibility of the auction winner. Limited plains game is available to add to the hunt.
This hunt includes:
• Daily rates for hunter
• Leopard trophy fee
• Meals and drinks
• Daily laundry services
• Accommodations (chalets or canvas tents with en-suite facilities)
• Services of an experienced professional hunter (1:1)
• Animals required for baiting
• Ground transfers during the hunt and from/to the nearest international airport
• Licenses and fees
• Skinning, trophy preparations, and delivery of trophies to the processor
Costs not included in this hunt:
• Airfare to and from Zimbabwe (to Bulawayo or Harare)
• Charter flights (if requested)
• Dip, pack, and shipment of trophies to a final international destination
• Tips for camp staff
• Trophy fees for plains game
• Dogs and handler (if requested; price on request)
• Daily rates for any additional days added to the package (if applicable)
• Non-hunting companion/observer ($400 per day)
• Overnight stays before and after package dates
• Personal travel insurance and medical evacuation policy
• Personal items, rifles, and ammunition
• Required Zimbabwe visa for entry
