.54 caliber, 10" round barrel, NSN. Flat lockplate, hammer and forged integrally pan. Harpers Ferry markings and dated 1807. Total of 2580 pistols made in 1807. Walnut stock with brass furniture. More than likely an old reconversion. Includes very rare "Chambers Conversion" consisting of a brass tube along the right side of the barrel that allowed for multiple shots. This example appears to be the only known example of this conversion surviving today. **Touch hole is slightly enlarged. Metal is gray with brown staining and pitting. Stock shows use with nicks and dings. A small gouge out behind the tang in the top of the stock. Markings are readable. Overall fair to good.** $3,000-$6,000
