style probably Germanic. Measures 55” overall with a 37” barrel of approximately .75 caliber smoothbore. The inside of the lock shows maker’s cartouche of “I.H.” with trident separating the initials. The lock is complete with chain and small parts and springs all intact. The stock has been broken and restored a long while ago and the color lightened as it shows evidence of being a darker color before the repairs. Some pitting on the lock and barrel but good metal condition for 400 years of age! An acceptable Wheelock musket with a nice form and a great marking inside the lock. Est.: $2,500-$5,000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
