16th to 17th century all authentic left handed dagger in uncleaned and as found original condition. Measures 15 5/8” overall with a 10 ½” blade. The guard is nicely forged and pierced with large pierced pommel. Original turned wire wrapped grip with 4 sided blade and reinforced ricasso. Some heavy pitting on the blade and moderate pitting on mounts. A miracle to find this dagger in “untouched” out of the atticcondition. Recently discovered in France and has a French style.
