Silke” and 3 stage brass cannon barrel showing earliest type flat hammer reminiscent of snap locks and we would date about 1650! The lock shows fairly crisp engraving and not rubbed out. The barrel has been lightly polished but also crisp and unbroken edges. Measures 29 ½” overall, 16” 3 stage brass barrel from octagon at the breech to round. The barrel shows proofs and maker’s mark R.S. The butt plate is early style brass of thin or “sheet” construction. The trigger guard is iron with early styling. The lock is secured by 3 screws and side plate is a well restored brass replacement that is well done. The stock is good with minor cleaning and small restorations. The lock is original and exceptionally crisp. (Antique) Est.: $2,000-$4,000

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
