1861 Springfield percussion rifle, .62 caliber, Serial #NSNV. The rifle is in fair overall condition with the barrel having been cut down to 22” in length and a steel bead front sight added. The barrel and receiverhave both taken on a grey patina spotted with areas of light to moderate surface rust and the rear sight has been removed. The side plate is US marked and dated 1861. The smooth wood stock is in good condition having an old coat of varnish added and a smooth steel crescent butt plate. A nice Civil War era Springfield cut down to carbine length. Est.: $300-$625. Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
