1864 Remington Rolling Block single shot rifle, .45-70 caliber, Serial #64964. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 34” barrel with a post front and military tangent style rear sights. The barrel hasgone entirely to grey patina with characters carved in front of the breech. The receiver is also a grey patina with additional markings carved into the action. The smooth wood stocks are in fair condition with dentsand compressions consistent with use and handling. The butt stock has sling swivels and ends with a smooth, steel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action functions and the markings are legible.According to the consignor, the rifle was one of 100,000 to the Egyptian military in 1870. Est.: $475-$950. (Antique).

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
