Manufactured in 1866. This Remington pocket revolver features a 4" octagon barrel with rear integrated notch sight and brass blade front sight. Top of the barrel is stamped "PATENTED SEPT 14, 1858 / REMINGTON & SONS ILION, NEW YORK U.S.A.". Five shot percussion cylinder chambered for 31 caliber. Blued small frame with spur trigger. Fitted with smooth walnut wood grips. This pocket pistol has NOT been converted to rimfire cartridges. Non-converted versions are getting harder to find! CALIBER: 31 Cal. S/N: 4170. FFL STATUS: Antique.
CONDITION
Finish has turned to a brown patina. Grips show two indentations on the bottom and light dings. Bore shows light oxidation, with good mechanics.
