1874 Sharps Heavy Barrel Sporting Rifle, .40 cal., serial #160267. The rifle is in overall very fine condition with a 30” heavy octagon barrel. The rifle sports a blade front sight made from bone and a standardladder rear sight. The barrel retains the majority of its muted blue original finish. The receiver and lock plate show significant original case color and double set triggers.. The serial numbers are matching on boththe barrel flats and the tang. The smooth wood stocks are in very fine condition as well showing only small mars and marks consistent with storage. The buttstock ends with a checkered steel butt plate. Therifle is accompanied by a letter of appraisal dated April of 1986 by Dixie Gun Works of Union City, Tennessee. A great looking, high condition Sharps rifle. Antique. Est.: $7,000-$14,000.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed.
