BLUNDERBUSS. Cal. 80. NSN. 33.5" overall, 19" tapered 2 stage octagonal to round barrel flaring to 1.6" at muzzle, commercial London proofs. Simple early iron furniture other than long brass sideplate, curved early "GILL / LONDON" lock with flat serpentine cock, full pinned stock with single ramrod thimble, saddle ring added at later date, with 2 old sheet copper repairs. CONDITION: good overall, appears all original to time of use, iron patina, lock markings only partially discernible, later wood ramrod, mechanics sloppy but functional, clear smooth bore.
