1908 Navy Luger by D.W.M. serial number 1841 with documenting letter to use in “Eastern Upring” by Irish patriots. The Luger shows “I I T D 2239” on the back-strap indicating Kiel Navy Yard Torpedo School second division. A 1996 dated letter signed by William Edwards of the Gold Rush Gunshop traces this Luger from 1948 in Dublin through his buying 28 Lugers from the Irish Department of Defense. Notarized document and copies of invoices included. The luger remains in original very good condition with 80%-90% original blue, good markings, some wear to good grips, and matching except later clip from WWI era. A great and historic Irish rebellion arm. Est.: $7,000-$14,000
