1923 Stoeger Three-Line American Eagle Luger, #90312, .30 Luger cal., 3-5/8'' barrel, blue finish, straw small parts, checkered walnut grips, with one tin-plated ''Germany'' marked wood based magazine. Thumb safety area marked ''Safe'', extractor marked ''Loaded'', right side of upper receiver marked ''Germany-A.F. Stoeger Inc./New York.'', American eagle to chamber area, DWM to toggle link. Right side lower receiver rail marked ''Genuine Luger-Registered U.S. Patent Office''. ''(Crown)/N'' proofmarks to frame, toggle, slide, and barrel. All visible matching numbers. Condition is near excellent retaining approx. 92% rust blue, with thinning at high edges, muzzle, forward edges of lower frame, and sideplate. Front and rear gripstrap retain approx. 97% blue. Grips with light to just moderate flattening. Left grip panel with oil darkening; right panel appears near new. Crisp action, bright bore. Est.: $4,500-$6,500. (C&R)
