Beautiful Display Honoring The WWII Veterans!
1941 WWII US Army Colt 1911A1 45acp Pistol in excellent professionally restored condition. The barrel has "S" "P" on lug and has an excellent lug, the slide has a square rear sight with a circular notch, there is a "P" in front of it and a "PN" on the underside. The frame has "WB" in a rectangle and a "P" by the mag release on the left side, "UNITED STATES PRODERTY M1911A1 U.S.ARMY" AND No755844 ON THE RIGHT SIDE,"H "G" on the top side. Very nice plastic grips. MFG 1941 C&R Eligible S/N:755844.
The display is housed in a custom made locking fitted oak case with glass top and includes:
-the above mentioned Colt pistol
-brown leather holster stamped US on the flap made by Boyt -42- in VG+ condition
-OD web belt marked R.M.C.O. 1941 with magazine pouch snap button in VG+ condition
-OD canvas .45 2 magazine pouch marked Hoff Mfg. Co. 1942with 2 magazines (one two tone) in VG condition. This pouch attaches to the snap on the web belt.
-box of 20 .45 cartridges made by Western Cartridge Co.
-7 loose W.C.C. .45 cartridges
-Parkerized steel cleaning rod
-steel combo tool
-U.S. M3 fighting knife marked Camillus in VG+ condition
-sterling U.S. Army Combat Infantry Badge in VG condition.

2. FIREARM BUYERS: WITHIN 2 DAYS OF AUCTION - A signed FFL License from your preferred local dealer MUST be provided regardless of the vintage. The FFL can be emailed to Shipping@DonleyAuctions.com. Make sure all emails contain the customer’s full name.
California residents must also provide an FFL for ammunition.
We cannot ship ammunition to Alaska or Hawaii.
Non-USA buyers are required to provide an FFL for an FFL dealer in the USA who will handle the export process.
NOTE: We cannot ship primers and We cannot ship any form of black powder.
3. PICKING UP - Please let us know within 24 hours if declining shipping, or you may be charged for packing. Contact us at Shipping@DonleyAuctions.com or 815-923-7000 to schedule day and time for pick-ups. All pick-ups are by appointment only. We will work with you to arrange pick-up times!
4. STORAGE FEES - Due to limited space, items must be picked up from the auction house within 5 days. Any items left for over 5 days will incur a storage charge of $20 per day unless prior arrangements have been made. Items left after 30 days will be considered abandoned and sold to recover expenses.
5. U.S. SHIPPING OF STANDARD-SIZED ITEMS - We will carefully, efficiently, and economically pack small/medium-sized items. You will receive an invoice from us via text/email through “SHIPPING SAINT” with shipping/handling costs which can be paid directly through the link in the message.
6. U.S. SHIPPING OF OVERSIZED ITEMS - We do not pack large or oversized items. We do not ship items over 100 lbs. By request, we will send you a list of recommended transporters and/or crating companies. It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to arrange transportation.
7. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - If your invoice total is over $2,499, we cannot ship internationally through USPS or FedEx. Any items exceeding this value must ship through an international shipping broker. We can provide recommendations.

Payment is due within 24 hours after the auction. Shortly after the auction, you will receive an email invoice from donleyauctionservices@gmail.com with the subject line "Donley Auctions - *Name of Auction* - Paddle #*xxxx*." Buyer's Premium is 26%. A 3% discount is available if paying by cash or cashier's check. IL residents and those paying in person add 7.25% tax.

We work very hard for the consignor as well as the buyer. The auction moves fast between the auctioneer, the on site bids, and the live internet bids. Because of this, one little delay, or what we call 'hiccup' in the internet connection, can cause an online bid to be missed. We apologize if this happens, but it is sometimes inevitable. Please be aware of this when attending an auction.
Due to the element of Third Party Auctions and the reliability/unreliability of technical issues, we reserve the right to end an auction early or extend an auction as we see fit.
