Manufactured in 1943 during the height of WWII. Features an 18" barrel stamped "UNDERWOOD 9/43" with period correct flip-up rear 2-position peep sight with shrouded blade milled front sight. RSG stamped two rivet top wood. SG marked trigger group with early cross bolt safety. SG marked sidewall and blued flat SG stamped bolt. SG stamped stock with Ordnance cross cannon cartouche, has not been cut for an M2. Includes period correct canvas sling and 10-round flat bottom magazine with rubber cap. Steel checkered butt plate. Has not been through a rebuild - no bayonet lug or "P" proof mark. LOP: 13". CALIBER: 30 CARBINE. S/N: 1850328. FFL STATUS: Curio & Relic.
CONDITION
Retains 80% overall with some fading, great condition for age and purpose. Light frosted bore with ME2 measurement. Good mechanics.
