19th century .50 caliber half stock Pennsylvania percussion rifle. The rifle is in good overall condition with a 35” octagon barrel with a dovetailed blade front sight and full-length ram rod. The barrel hastaken on a dark brown patina with surface rust and some pin prick pitting evident. A name has been scratched into the barrel flat but is difficult to discern. The side plate is nicely scroll engraved and has likewisetaken on a brown patina. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with a patch box in the butt stock and a smooth crescent butt plate.
