1) LEFT HANDED FULL STOCK. Cal. about 40. NSN. Bbl. 42" oct. measuring 15/16" across flats. German silver blade front sight w/ fixed V notch rear sight. Bolster style lug. Left hand engraved trade lock marked "H" w/ arrow through it. Dbl. set triggers. Pin fastened full length bird's eye maple stock. Brass fittings include crescent buttplate, toeplate, trigger guard, thimble, 2 pipes, nose cap & teardrop inlay on toeline. Oval brass tag marked "J.M. DAVIS / 7100 / MEMORIAL" is attached to trigger guard. The JM Davis Firearms Museum in Claremore, OK is home to the world's largest privately held firearms collection. CONDITION: metal has dark appearance w/ surface rust, corrosion, sm. dents & light pitting. Lock has bright cleaned appearance. Stock shows sm. handling marks w/ cracks around the lock. Hammer will not hold in cocked position. No ramrod present. Dark pitted bore w/ largely intact rifling. (01-19889/DS).
2) HEAVY HALF STOCK. Cal. 44. NSN. Bbl. 35 1/4" oct. measuring 1 1/8" across flats at muzzle. Base only of front sight remains, open filler for rear dovetail & original lollipop rear sight. Replacement G. Golcher marked engraved back action trade lock & hammer. Dbl. set triggers. Wedge fastened half length curly maple stock w/ shadowline cheekpieces on both sides. Brass finger curl trigger guard. German silver fittings include crescent buttplate, toe plate, side plate, wedge escutcheons & thimble. German silver ornamentation include half moons & 5 pointed stars on both cheek pieces w/ matching stars on forearm & sm. diamonds on either side of top tang. Replacement hardwood ramrod held on iron underrib by 1 remaining plain iron pipe. Front pipe is missing. WEIGHT: 13 lbs., 10 oz. Oval brass tag marked "J.M. Lock will not hold in cocked position. Replacement lock is fitted w/ lg. areas of plastic wood. Stock shows heavy wear w/ dents & handling marks w/ lg. crack below lock & plastic wood repairs at toe.
