RIFLES. 1) Cal. 375 H&H. S# 58047 L70 (1970). Heavy 24" bbl. Bead front sight; open holes for rear sight & receiver bases. Short extractor push feed action. Engraving on floorplate. Replacement walnut checkered Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with 2 recoil lugs, sling eyes & Pachmayr pad. CONDITION: This rifle shows oxidation & pitting from salt wood damage. Barrel & receiver has very good blue in exposed areas with oxidation & marks. Stock has scattered marks & gouges with buttstock portion sanded. Ejector & bolt retainer missing. Shiny bore with strong rifling. (25-572/MD). 2) Cal. 30-06. S# 8L 45508 (1968). Barrel 22". Hooded bead front sight, filler screws in rear sight holes & Weaver bases on receiver. Control feed bolt with claw extractor. Walnut Monte Carlo checkered pistol grip stock with sling eyes & Browning buttplate. CONDITION: rifle metal & wood shows oxidation & pitting evident of salt wood damage. Barrel shows cold blue refinish in areas effected by salt wood; large deeply pitting area on barrel around forearm. Ejector is missing. Recoil lug on stock has oxidation. Buttstock area has been sanded; stock shows small chips & deep marks. Shiny bore shows strong rifling & spots of light pitting. (25-573/MD). ALL CURIO. $300-500.
