WITH CUSTOM HYDROCOIL STOCK WITH CASE. Cal. 20 Ga. 2-3/4". S# 6606 (1953). The 28" demi-bloc barrels with narrow matted ventilated rib are made without side ribs. Browning St. Louis address is the only one on top barrel along with chamber, patent and Belgium information. Barrels are marked for cylinder and cylinder chokes. Coin finish, small size Browning action with gold plated single selective trigger is engraved in usual pigeon style with pigeons flying through open scroll on sides, rose bouquet on bottom and relief carved oak leaves and acorns on top fence. Custom made Hydrocoil buttstock of very attractively marbled and lightly figured European walnut measures 14-1/4" over black thin pad when in extended position. Stock measures 13" when collapsed. Rosewood grip cap has inlet gold diamond engraved "ROH" and grip checkering has relief carved and scrolled borders. Semi-beavertail captive forend matches well. Barrels retaining nearly all old re-blue over some scratches and marks. Choke markings re-stamped. Action remains silver gray as refinished. Engraving somewhat softened. Newer custom stocks retain nearly all of their shiny finish. Checkering lightly worn. Hydrocoil mechanism not working requires air at a minimum. Bores are bright and shiny. Action is slightly loose.
