This Iowa special deer tag is good statewide in concurrence with the occurring season. The auction winner chooses one of the 2014 or 2015 seasons to hunt.

The winner bidder must choose one of the following seasons:
1) Archery: valid 10-1-2014 through 12-5-2014 and 12-22-2014 through 1-10-2015
2) Muzzleloader: valid (Iowa residents only: 10-11-2014 through 10-19-2014 Valid (Iowa residents & non-residents) 12-22-2014 through 1-10-201
3) Shotgun 1: valid 12-6-2014 through 12-10-2014
4) Shotgun 2: valid 12-13-2014 through 12-21-2014
5) 2015 Season: Choice of one of the 2015 seasons which will be similar to the season dates listed above.

CONTRACTS:
All accepted bids are contracts and are considered final and non-withdrawable. Payment must be received by Kristy Bosworth at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation headquarters no later than September 29th, 2014.
BUYER'S PREMIUM AND SALES TAX:
A buyer's premium of 3% will be applied to the winning bid purchase price. If payment is done by check or money order, the 3% Buyer’s Premium fee will be waived. The RMEF is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and no sales tax will be collected.
ONLINE BIDDING:
The person posting the bids online has to be the person who has registered for the auction.
TAX DEDUCTIONS/IRS:
IRS rules permit a charitable contribution for the amount paid in excess of fair market value.
