This is your opportunity to hunt arguably the best black tail/black tail cross deer ranch in Northern California. The JS Ranch, owned by George & Chris McArthur is 6500 acres of some of the best black tail habitat both natural and irrigated pasture in the North State. It is located 15 miles east of Redding California at an elevation of 450 feet to 1100 feet above sea level. It has majestic views of both Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. The ranch is comprised of grasslands, oak savanna, creek riparian, irrigated pastures and rolling hills. Wildlife abounds, black tail deer, bear, elk, turkeys, hogs, quail are all present on this beautiful Northern California Ranch. This hunt will take place in November of 2018 during the height of the rut. It is a 5 day guided hunt between November 4th and November 20th. Guides, lodging, game preparation, and ranch transportation are all included. Hunters should be able to hike to maximize opportunities. Most year's our hunters will see 50 to 100 deer per day. Expect to harvest a black-tail or black-tail cross in the 140 to 170 range. This is an outstanding hunting opportunity on an outstanding private ranch in Northern California.
