1903 Training rifle with sling marked "Dummy Training Rifle Mk I - U.S.N. Parris-Dunn Corp Clarinda Iowa" on the butt, with canvas case. Case is personalized "To my friend Mr Walter Ehlers. Thank you for your serviceand your friendship. I am proud to call you my friend. SFC Israel Hill (with signature) 2-1-2011. Ehlers was a Congressional Medal of Honor winner with a letter of provenance from the estate seller of his home andeffects. The rifle is in good condition with a canvas sling, functioning bolt, blued finish, sights, and metal butt plate. The US issue M-1950 Parachutists canvas drop bag is in very good condition overall, with a small 1" tear in the top flap. Est. $250-500
