Colt 1851 Navy 2nd Model Square back with period "Reduced" length inscribed "B. Brandieth" in period script on the back strap, S/N 3011. The barrel retains 30%-50% original blue going to a "Soft" naturalpatina. The cylinder shows most of its original scene and sharp Ormsby signature. All matching visible numbers. 50%-70% light original case colors on the frame, hammer, and rammer. The grips show 50%-70% varnishwith wear at the edges and many "tacking" marks on the butt probably from horse shoe nails. All matching and crisp. Note: Our recollection is that B.
