Colt 1851 Navy Revolver Finely Deluxe Gustave Young engraved and cased with accessories, S/N 79228. This Navy shows exceptional Young treatments with dog head engraved on the left lug, hand cut Colt's patent, florals and masterful and deep engraving of deluxe quality. The barrel shows 30%-50% original blue that is toning and drifting to patina. The cylinder shows traces of blue that and 50% plus light original cylinder scene. The frame, hammers and lever show 40%-60% case colors turning to silver but still some good tones. 30%-50% silver on the straps. The grips are burl walnut and are good to very good with 30%-50% varnish and even loss due to wear and some use. All matching visible numbers. Period added V notch and blade front sight. Contained in an original partition style Navy case lined with green velveteen. The interior is very good plus with minor wear and aging. A very good bent spout Navy flask with 70%-80% lacquer is included along with 36 B mold, wrench, cap tin and authentic unopened cartridge pack.
