Colt U.S. Army Model 1901 double action revolver, #709, .38 caliber, 6" barrel, blued finish with smooth grips and lanyard loop. The pistol is in very good to nearly fine condition. The metal surfaces retain themajority of their blue finish with light holster wear at the muzzle and a feint drag line on the cylinder. The rear of the frame is stamped with the “RAC” proof while the trigger shows a beautiful niter blue. Thesmooth wood grips are in good condition with small mars from carry and use. There are sharp RAC cartouches at the base of both grip panels and the lanyard ring is intact. The bore is good, the action crisp and markingsare sharp on this desirable, early martially marked Colt Model 1901. Est.: $400-800. (C+R/PPT).
