Double Action percussion pistol marked "Mfg. by C. Dandon Licensed by Deane, Adams, and Deane London". The right side of the frame is marked "Adams PT #4608". 1mm or .44-45 caliber with engraved frame and blued finish. Approximately 70%-80% toning blue remains with good checkered wood grips. Minor light erosion. Works well. Contained within original double case with its mate missing. The lid shows agents mark in embossed gold"Jean Arq. A Toulon (Sumer)". The flask is original to this case and is fair with dents and erosion. 1 rod remains and other accessories lost. The box shows good lining with minor fading and impressions. The keyplate, plaque in the top and locking plate in lid are missing and the box was pried open at one point. Double sets are scarce and this is a fairly generic type measuring 12 5/8" overall with a 6 1/2" octagon barrel.(Antique) Est.: $1500-$3000
