Colt 1851 Navy Revolver 4th Model with capping groove remaining in fine original condition, S/N 214367. The barrel retains 80%-90% bright and inky blue finish with minor losses at the edges and muzzle andslight scratches. The edges and markings are crisp. The cylinder shows nearly all of the late in production "Light" scene with 30%-50% blue going to a patina. The frame, hammer and lever show 70%-80% case colors with still colorful rainbow hues going slightly "Soft". The silver has drifted as normal on late navies with traces on the brass straps with "Honey" patina. The grips are near fine with 80%-90% varnish remaining and minor dings,mars and scratches with a couple of dents. All matching visible numbers. Bright finish on the small parts and screws.
