WWI U.S. marked L. F. & C. Trench knife with scabbard and personalized inscription on the grip. The knife is in very good condition with an overall length of 14” and a 9” triangular spike blade. The handguard ismarked, “U.S. L. F. & C. 1917”. The knife has a wraparound studded steel handguard with a skull crusher at the pommel. The smooth wooden handle has finger grooves and is marked, “SGT. FRED ROBERTS U.S. ARMY” andthere are additional markings on the obverse which are illegible. The leather scabbard is marked, “MS” on the steel throat and cap with the hanger intact. The aged leather retains some original green finish. A verynice WWI vintage trench knife by a well-known maker dated 1917 that deserves further research. Not for sale in California or where prohibited. Est.: $300-$600.

Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
