Colt 1908 Semi-Auto pistol in .25 ACP engraved with nickel plated, pearl grips with deep set medallions and shipped to J.A> Rooks Sept 17, 1916 1 gun in shipment. Letter from noted Colt expert Ronald Ogan dated Feb 25, 1982 addressed to John Battaglia, Tulsa, Oklahoma states in his opinion this pistol was factory engraved by Helfricht although the records do not reflect engraving just nickel with pearl and shipment info. Formerly Ron Kowal (President of Bac-Jac productions) collection with his collection label. This pistol retains 90%-95% aged and toned original nickel with near fine grips. Sharp markings and bright bore. Extra nickeled mag, brush and instructions with box showing , pearl, nickel and sticker (Engraved). Undoubtedly a factory omission as confirmed by Mr. Ogan's letter to Battaglia who along with Kowal were high respected Coltafficiandos who all 3 deemed to be factory engraved. All over-sized, fragile or bulky items are the buyer's responsibility to have a third party shipper pick up and deliver.We do not ship to address' outside the United States.
Shipping can take up to 6-8 weeks. Buyer pays all packing, material, handling, shipping costs and 2% of invoice amount for insurance. International Shipments will be sent to an exporter and buyer agrees to pay all costs incurred including all shipping costs, insurance, exporter fees and all custom & applicable duty fees.
Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Registration and Regulations apply and must be strictly followed. It is the responsibility of the buyer to know and follow the laws and regulations of their home state regarding firearms. It is the buyer's responsibility to know gun laws in their area.
