1) PILOT. A fine example of a solid silver WWI German Pilot’s Badge. Badge features a laurel and oak leaf wreath with a central scene of an early plane flying over farmland. The top of the badge features the imperial crown of Germany. The reverse has a narrow pin with a T-bar top. The badge is marked on the reverse with a crescent moon and "800". CONDITION: badge shows light wear. 2) RETIRED PILOT. A nice example of a solid silver WWI German Retired Pilot’s Badge. Badge features a laurel and oak leaf wreath with a central scene of a bird flying over farmland. The top of the badge features an imperial German crown. The reverse has a wide T-bar pin. The badge is marked on the reverse with a small imperial eagle and "925". CONDITION: badge shows light wear overall. 3) OBSERVER. A beautiful example of a WWI German Observer’s Badge. Badge features a laurel and oak leaf wreath with a central rayed field featuring a separately applied red, white, and black enameled square. The top of the badge features an imperial German crown. The reverse has a rayed field with two visible pins from the mounting of the central enamel square. CONDITION: badge shows light wear overall with no damage to the enamel.
