1) Overall length 40 1/2". Blade length 33". Plain unmarked double fullered blade. Gilded brass hilt with integral Prussian eagle in the guard. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip with the royal cipher of Wilhelm II. Darkened iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows original factory polish. Hilt shows light overall wear. Scabbard shows light to moderate wear with scattered dents. 2) Overall length 31 3/8". Blade length 21 3/8". An interesting child’s or Cadet’s sword featuring a single fullered blade with rounded tip. Blade is etched over the first 12 1/2" with various patriotic & foliate motifs. There is a 3” panel on one side bearing the name “Hermon Muller” and a panel on the other side that reads “WEIHNACHTEN 1908”. This sword was obviously a Christmas gift in 1908 to young Herr Muller. The gilded brass hilt has crossed cannons on the languet and a lion’s head pommel featuring light yellow glass eyes. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip with a leather & silver bullion knot attached. Black enameled iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade shows very light wear with a few stains. Hilt generally shows light wear as does the knot. Scabbard retains nearly all of its original finish. 3) Overall length 22". Blade length 16 3/4". Plain blade with rounded tip and a single narrow fuller. Blade is marked at the ricasso “(knight’s head)”. Gilded brass hilt with a Prussian eagle in the guard. Wire wrapped sharkskin grip. Plated scabbard. An interesting example of a Prussian child’s sword. CONDITION: blade shows light wear. Hilt has a pleasing patina with traces of original gilding. Grip shows some wear.
