.38 WCF Caliber, Winchester Repeating Arms Co. This oilproof marked early 20’s style full cover 2 pc box is considered to the last Black powder offering by Winchester in this caliber. Oilproof wasn’t introduced to the commercial market until the mid/late 1930’s though law enforcement had it in the 20’s as an option and the black powder loading was discontinued in 1940. Containing 23 original cartridges and this is the exact box pictured on page 61 in Giles & Shuey. **Not factory sealed, missing some cartridges. Very good condition.** $75-$150
