1) TRENCH KNIFE. Overall length: 12 1/4". A good example of a US Mark 1 trench knife of the WWI era. Blade has a darkened finish with a brass hilt showing four studded finger loops, along with a skull crusher nut at the pommel. The grip area is marked "U. S. 1918 L.F & C-1918". Iron sheath. CONDITION: blade has about 50% blued finish remaining. Hilt has a pleasing patina. Sheath is a bit oxidized and is missing one of the securing pins. 2) FAIRBAIRN SYKES. A classic WWII commando knife measuring 13 1/2" overall with sheath. Blued blade measures 6 7/8". Blued crossguard stamped "ENGLAND". Ridged grip with raised pommel. Leather sheath with brass tip. A late-war example issued to and bought by many US troops. CONDITION: blade shows a few spots of oxidation. Hilt has a pleasing patina. Sheath is complete but a bit dirty. 3) M4 BAYONET. A US M4 bayonet, remanufactured into a fighting knife, measuring 11 1/2" overall. Plain, blued blade with crossguard marked "(flaming bomb) U.S. M4 IMPERIAL". One-piece wooden grip with crosshatching. Standard pommel. Sheet iron sheath with nylon suspension strap. CONDITION: blade is a bit rusty. Hilt is rough but functional. Sheath also shows a bit of oxidation. 4) M7 BAYONET. A US M7 bayonet with a plain, blued blade stamped "(logo) COLT’S 62316 HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A." The guard is stamped "U.S. M7". Two-piece composite grip. Standard pommel. No sheath. CONDITION: light wear overall. (02-22922-8/BF). $600-800.
