No.1: Swiss Model 1911 Pioneer Bayonet. 18 7/8" bright saw-back blade w/ fuller on the right side only. 24" overall. Marked on right ricasso "ELSENER SCHWYZ". Straight steel crossguard w/ muzzle ring. Smooth walnut grips retained by two rivets. This bayonet fits the model 1911 Schmidt-Rubin carbine. Steel scabbard w/ ball tip. CONDITION: bayonet blade has been sharpened w/ light wear & staining. Saw-back appears to be reasonably sharp. Balance of metal has turned a dark patina w/ oxidation & very fine pitting throughout. Grips have light wear & scattered handling marks. Scabbard is turning gray & patina. No.2: Belgian Model 1916 Cruciform Bayonet. 17 3/4" blued blade. 22 1/2" overall. Bayonet for the Model 1889 Mauser rifle is marked only w/ S# on crossguard. Crossguard has muzzle ring. Smooth walnut grips secured by two rivets. Matching blued steel scabbard w/ ball tip. CONDITION: bayonet has thinning finish w/ light wear. Grips have light wear & scattered handling marks throughout. Scabbard has dents & scratches w/ handling marks throughout. No.3: Swedish M19 Bayonet. 12 3/4" blade w/ false edge. 17 7/8" overall. Blade is marked on right ricasso "crown over anchor / EJ / AB". Smooth hardwood grips retained by two screws. Front screw is not present. CONDITION: blade is heavily oxidized w/ wear & pitting throughout. Notable chipping on the forward end of the false edge. Balance of metal has turned overall patina. Grips have wear, cracking & staining. No.4: US Remington Model 1917 Bayonet. 16 7/8" fullered blade. 21 5/8" overall. Blade is marked on left ricasso "1917" & encircled "REMINGTON". Marked on right ricasso "flaming bomb / U.S. / eagle head / 25 / acceptance mark". CONDITION: metal parts show traces of original blue w/ wear, light oxidation & fine pitting turning overall patina. Sharpened edge has tiny chips missing at forward end. Grips have wear, staining & chipping. No.5: Austrian Model 1895 Mannlicher Bayonet. 9 3/4" bright blade. 14 5/8" overall. Bayonet has distinctive profiled grip. Bayonet is marked only w/ S# on crossguard. Smooth walnut grips secured by two rivets. CONDITION: metal parts are turning gray & patina w/ extensive light oxidation & fine pitting. Blade has been sharpened. Grips have moderate wear & handling marks. (02-23850/RW). NON-GUN. $250-400.
