Donation: This is a 5-day Alaskan spring black bear hunt over bait for 2 hunters. Sue is encouraging women to consider this hunt with their daughter or son to introduce more female and kids into hunting. This is great opportunity for a parent or family member especially a Mother/daughter or parent/child to hunt bears at close range. Sue Entsminger & Matt Snyder, mother & son, are owners of Alaska Hunting Adventures. Matt books fall hunts and specializes in Tok Management Area Sheep where he was raised. Sue books the spring bear hunts. This hunt is for 2 hunters guided by Sue Entsminger, Wild Sheep Foundations own Artemis Award winner in 2016. This area has 40-50% color phase blacks ranging from chocolate to blonde.
DATES: This hunt must be scheduled for May or June 2021 and cannot be delayed.
ADD ONS: Grizzly bear for one person can be added for an addition $9,500 which moves hunt to 8-day hunt
ADDITIONAL HUNTERS: Contact Outfitter for availability.
ADDITIONAL NON-HUNTERS: Welcome for $325 per day, but kids under 16 are free.
LOCATION: Mentasta Mountains in the Eastern Alaska Range.
AMENITIES INCLUDED: This hunt is all inclusive once you get to camp including field care of trophy. The hunt price includes all accommodations & transportation from base camp, $100 land use fee, $150 membership Non-Resident Hunter Preservation Fund, and field skinning.
AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED: The hunting licenses $160 and black bear tag fee of $450 for each hunter. Travel to and from Tok, Alaska or Mile 91 Tok Cutoff and taxidermy fleshing.
Accommodations: You will be staying at the home/lodge of Sue & Frank Entsminger of Alaska Hunting Adventures.
SPECIAL NOTES: Our experienced taxidermist can provide proper fleshing services after the hunting season from $250-$650 depending on the size of the black bear or the hunter can transport frozen hides to their personal taxidermist. All bears must be sealed before leaving Alaska. We assist in all these arrangements. Alaska has meat salvage requirements. We can help you if you wish to take any meat home or you can transfer possession to us.

They have lived next to the Tok Management Area (TMA) in the Eastern Alaska Range since 1977 & hunted since 1969. Every hunt is custom designed to meet your specific needs. BIDDER AUTHORIZES WSF TO CHARGE BIDDER’S CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF EACH SUCCESSFUL BID PLACED BY BIDDER IMMEDIATELY UPON THE CLOSE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL SALE. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All sales are final. NO RETURNS OF MERCHANDISE WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bidders paying by credit card require prior approval and will be charged an additional 3% administration fee. No payments will under any circumstances be accepted from any third party not being a successful qualified Bidder. Bidders’ names and addresses to which the merchandise must be delivered may not be changed after date of sale.
The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is organized to benefit wild sheep by generating funds by auctioning items donated by individuals and/or companies.
Any bid made at a WSF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, online or at a silent auction, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the fifth business day after the close of the auction. For any purchase of more than $100,000, upon request, all issued check currently dated will not be deposited until the opening of the sixth business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late. Auction items must be paid for by the close of Convention. Payments will be taken at the auction payment table during the Ladies Luncheon, Life Member Breakfast, and all evening auctions. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.

*WSF strongly encourages Special Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the State, Province, Tribal Nation or Country he/she is hunting. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State, Province or Country they are hunting.
ONLINE BIDDING: All online bidders will be required to pay a 5% registration fee with a $250 cap.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from WSF Auction Team for verification.
ABSENTEE BID FORM: If you are bidding on behalf of someone that is not in attendance, you will have to fill out an Absentee Bid Form which will be provided at the Auction Payment Table (left of stage) during the banquet auctions.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, WSF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from Headquarters to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention. WSF cannot transfer any firearm at the Convention.
WSF AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by WSF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in both the live and silent auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of WSF. WSF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. WSF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live and silent auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by WSF. WSF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, WSF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. WSF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. WSF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only WSF exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers or attendees on the expo or auction floor during our conventions. Solicitation by non-exhibitors violates WSF Exhibit policy and is prohibited.

PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Silent Auction results will be posted at the close of the auction in the Silent Auction Area and at the Registration Desk. Payments will be taken at the Registration Desk from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Arrangements for item pick up can be made at that time. Bidding begins Thursday at 10:00 a.m. and ends Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Banquet Silent Auction (located in the Tuscany Ballroom of the Peppermill) will open at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday Night and close at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday Night. Any items left in the inventory, either unpaid or uncollected, will be taken back to WSF Headquarters and shipped at the purchaser’s expense. Items may be picked up during the auctions with proof of payment. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the auction hall to assist you in obtaining your item. In addition, you can pick up your item in the Silent Auction Display area (located in the Exhibit Hall) during show hours, and the Live Auction items in the Tuscany Ballroom of the Peppermill. Please have your receipt available.
