Mike Odin of Mike Odin's Alaska Adventures is pleased to donate a 5-day/5-night trophy Sea Duck shoot and self-guided Sitka Black-tailed Deer combo hunts for one hunter on Kodiak Island. Hunt Kodiak's pristine wilderness and breathtaking views for trophy Sea Ducks and Sitka Black-tailed Deer for an exciting wing shooting and hunting adventure. They have extremely high success rate for sending clients home with a wide variety of trophy Sea Ducks and one nice trophy buck. Method of take is shotgun and shells for trophy Sea Duck hunts and hunter's choice for deer hunts. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates from mid-October-December, 2025 or 2026. They hunt trophy Sea Ducks with non-stop action during Kodiak Island wintering grounds and trophy Sitka Black-tailed Deer during prime rut season. Sea Duck hunting on Kodiak Island is primarily done over decoys from shore or jump-shooting birds. Their Sea Duck guests are typically treated to opportunities for Harlequin, Old Squaw (Long-Tailed Duck), Mergansers (Common and Red Breasted), Scoters (Common, Surf and White-Winged), King and Common Eider. Alaska offers 22 Duck species and four Goose species. Hunts commence from their remote wilderness cabin where you will be transported to nearby river drainages, bays, islands, rocky points, and fjords each day to hunt and return each day for warm meals and lodging. Hunt includes experienced USCG licensed transporter, experienced Migratory Bird hunting guide who will assist in retrieving birds. Sea Duck hunt, wilderness cabin accommodations (warm and comfortable), hearty home cooked meals and beverages, in-field transportation (Bay Runner boats), duck decoy lines, VHF/marine radio, assist with bird prep/cleaning, and airport pick-up and drop-off shuttle. Hunt does not include before and after hunt expenses, commercial airfare, hotel, air charter passenger seat and gear to and from camp (approximately $1,600 RT each hunter), Alaska nonresident small game license, ($160), Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation stamp ($25), Alaska Waterfowl Conservation stamp ($10); Alaska nonresident hunting license for deer hunts: ($160), deer tag ($300), harvest tickets (no fee), shipment of trophy/game meat, taxidermy trophy services, and gratuities. Additional groups of three – six hunters are welcome at outfitters current pricelist. Arrival and departure point is the city of Kodiak, Alaska where you are met by a representative of their local air charter shuttle service. Kodiak waterfowl season is October 8 - January 22. Duck limit: 7 per day, 21 in possession; Sea Duck limit for Nonresidents: 7 per day, 20 per season. Goose limits are available too. See ADF&G website for current bag limits.
