Elaine Lake Outfitting is located in the northern boreal forest of Saskatchewan. The Quaale’s southern boundary borders the Prince Albert National Park and their northern boundary is the remote and inaccessible Thunder Hills, encompassing a total of 225,000 acres. Due to the remoteness of this area, there is no hunting pressure other than their clients. It is truly an exceptional area with an abundance of game including an excellent Whitetail Deer population. All of Reg’s deer stands are baited, so the success rate of these hunts is also very close to 100%. Logging is prevalent in the territory, so this provides excellent deer habitat and accessibility by quad. In the past years clients have shot several Boone and Crockett bucks. Reg uses mainly ground blinds, so hunters may use heaters if necessary.
The modern lodge is a 3,800 square foot building holding 5 bedrooms, with two beds in each. It has showers, bathrooms, central heating, and a wood burning stove. Reg’s wife, Tanis, is the cook and prepares excellent home cooked meals including homemade rolls and breads. You will not lose weight while visiting, that is a given.
Bring a hunting buddy for $4,000 USD plus licences, tags and tax or a non-hunter for $250 per day. Many out of province hunters fly to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, rent a vehicle, and drive to camp. A member of the Elaine Lake team will meet you in Prince Albert to guide you from there.
