•This is a EIGHT-DAY 2 x 1 safari for TWO hunters and TWO observers.
•The hunting season dates are March 1 through November 30, 2025 or 2026.
•If trophies are taken early, the clients will not be required to suspend the duration of days donated for hunting.
•The hunt may be upgraded, either to include extra hunters or observers at normal rates (as per price list), extra trophies to be hunted, and
extra days booked either on hunting or touring, as the client wishes to tailor the package.
•Africa Maximum Safaris caters for safari tours to Botswana, Kruger Park, Pilanesberg Park and other exciting destinations. If client wishes
to upgrade on touring days we will be glad to tailor-make their dream Safari Tour.
•Arrival/departure point is Johannesburg or Tambo International Airport. Hunters will be met by Africa Maximum staff upon arrival and
transferred to the lodge.
•Included are the daily rates for two hunters and two observers for 8 days, trophy fees for one black wildebeest, one blue
wildebeest, one impala, one blesbuck and one springbuck (to be shared by the hunters), accommodations in luxury safari
lodge, all meals, soft drinks and bottle water, daily laundry service, PH service, all transportation during the hunt, and field preparation of
trophies. The second hunter can upgrade and take a sable at the discounted price of $4,900 and/or a roan at $5,500. No permit drawing
or lottery is required for this hunt.
•Not included are taxidermy, dipping, packing and shipment of trophies, any additional animals, and gratuities for staff. For an additional fee,
special arrangements can be made if the client wishes to charter a plane to camp.
•The arrival day and departure day cost and the airport transfer are also excluded. The cost is $210 per person per day excluding 15% tax.
This is applicable to the client in all cases.
•Weapons to be used: rifle only, 30-06 caliber and bigger. The limitation on the ammunition is 200 rounds per gun. An alternative weapon
to bring is a shotgun for bird shooting.
•An export permit from the United States is required to bring any weapons into South Africa. At South African Customs, the gun owner will
supply the necessary import permit on which a temporary firearm license will be issued.
•It is the high bidder’s responsibility to check on any international travel requirements.

Pickup and Shipping
The high bidder is responsible for pickup of purchased items in a timely manner before the conclusion of the convention. The Auction Volunteer Team will be available in the Banquet/Auction hall at the payment table to assist you in obtaining your item. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the high bidder. Our staff will work with you to find the best method to ship purchased items that cannot be taken by the high bidders. GSCO assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until full payment has been received. All hard merchandise will be shipped within 30 days after full payment of item is received.
Terms of Sale
Any bid, whether at the live auction, online or by phone, constitutes an OFFER TO PURCHASE the item being presented at the time. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf. Being the high bidder for an item requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the conclusion of the auction or directly thereafter.
REFUND POLICY
All sales are final. In no event shall Buyer seek reimbursement from GSCO and Buyer acknowledges and agrees that GSCO is not liable to refund the purchase price or any portion thereof.
Auction Procedures
The auctioneer and his staff run the auction. Their rules and decisions will be final. If during the live auction, a final bid for an item is erroneously taken from two bidders, the bidding is closed to everyone else except those two bidders. The high bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser; the auctioneer shall have the sole and final discretion to determine the successful bidder in any auction. At each live auction, there will be pre-designated bid spotters in the audience, and it is the responsibility of the bidder to direct bids to the nearest spotter. The auctioneer and spotters will make every attempt to acknowledge all desired bids, but GSCO is not responsible for any missed bids or bids that fail to be executed.
The high bidder for a hunt or trip is responsible for making arrangements directly with the donor in a timely manner. It IS NOT the obligation of the donor or Grand Slam Club/Ovis to contact the high bidder. The high bidder is responsible for following the same procedure as if the hunt or trip had been booked directly with the provider.
Online Bidding
All online bidders will be required to pay a 3% buyer’s premium plus an additional 3% credit card administrative fee.
You will be asked to provide the following information: full name, email address, billing address, phone number, credit card number which an address verification system (avs) is completed. Items purchased through the online auction will be shipped by a GSCO representative and shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.
All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from GSCO auction team for verification.
HUNTS
Although GSCO has used its reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts and trips, it has no control over the operation of the donor and cannot and does not guarantee that the hunt or trip will be to the Buyer’s satisfaction. The Buyer understands and agrees that it is his/her responsibility to make all arrangements for hunt or trip dates, including travel and completion of filing of all necessary documents, including applications for licenses and permits. GSCO cannot guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during a hunt. Some hunts are subject to VAT and GST tax liabilities, which sometimes are due and payable before the hunt can be taken. Buyer understands and agrees that GSCO is not responsible for these fees and that it is the Buyer’s responsibility to pay these fees unless other arrangements are made with the donor.
In no event shall GSCO, its directors, officers, agents, employees, or representatives be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages however causes and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way or form out of the Buyer’s purchase of trips, hunts, goods, services, or anything else purchased by Buyer at auction.
FIREARMS
Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. GSCO will ship the firearm through a Firearms License (FFL) holder, at the expense of the purchaser, to a Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after the event.
