Africa needs no introduction to dangerous game and plains game hunting safaris. The Big Five and the numerous plains game species are the main reason hunters flock to Africa. Much less discussed is the amazing wing-shooting opportunities the Dark Continent offers! Fifteen species of ducks and geese can be hunted in South Africa. Combined with upland game birds, there are over thirty species to hunt! Maybe not the volume of Argentina, but South Africa reigns as king regarding variety.
The Ultimate Waterfowl Challenge outfitting team in South Africa specializes in World-Class Wingshooting Safaris. Our Professional Hunters understand that scouting is the key to successful hunts. With that in mind, they have access to many of the most productive marshes and fields available in the region where waterfowl congregate. We will only hunt the most productive areas.
Our team also understands you have traveled a long way to hunt Africa. After your wingshooting safari, we can assist you with pursuing dangerous game or plains game hunts.
THE HUNT:
The ducks and geese of South Africa are similar to those around the world and tend to concentrate in areas that have the most rainfall and also where the grain harvest is in full swing. Our UWC hunters will be in the most productive fields, ponds, and marshes. Well-concealed blinds and strategically placed decoys are used on each hunt.
We will hunt waterfowl in the morning and afternoon. Additionally, we will hunt upland game such as francolin, grouse, doves, and pigeons. For the upland game, we utilize trained pointing dogs or beaters to drive the birds from the cover, providing exciting overhead shooting.
ACCOMMODATIONS AND CUISINE:
At camp you will be catered to by a very attentive staff. We will be staying in typical safari style camps or in some cases quaint Country Inns. Our hunters will dine on excellent meals as the culinary team takes great pride in guest satisfaction. You can be sure part of the menu will include some of Africa's finest wild game!

On this safari, you will hunt a variety of ducks and geese, as well as several species of francolin, quail, sandgrouse, dove, rock pigeon, and guinea fowl.
TRIP DETAILS:
THE STANDARD PACKAGE IS 8 DAYS, 6 DAYS OF HUNTING. ONE LOCATION ($3,200 USD per hunter) Bidders can upgrade to a multiple-location wing shooting safari.

UWC ONLINE AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The winner's credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winners will receive an immediate email acknowledgment after the bidding phase, followed by a paid invoice once their payment has been processed. **A 3% buyer's premium will be added to all auction items paid for with a credit card.
2. In the event the card is declined, The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during bidding.
3. Reserves: If an item does not reach a reserve price (if applicable), then the highest bidder may be offered the option to buy it at the reserve price.
4. Any waterfowl hunt purchased in this auction cannot be sold, raffled, or bartered without the written consent of The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc.
5. Our vetted outfitting partners have donated or partially donated all waterfowl hunting adventures. The purchaser acknowledges that our vetted outfitters have donated or partially donated their waterfowl hunting adventures. By making a purchase, the purchaser waives any claim for liability against The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge INC or the donor of any service. Neither The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the utilization of any services sold if any action or claim is made against the The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge INC by an individual, entity, or state, local, federal, foreign or political body for any matter whatsoever arising from the use of the auctioned items, or any actions or parties conducting business concerning the auctioned items, the donor and purchaser will pay The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge INC.'s attorneys' fees and costs and will hold The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge INC harmless from any judgment thereon. Buyer also agrees that any lawsuits filed against Company by Buyer for any reason will be heard in a court of law in Company’s county and state of business (Hennepin County, Minnesota).
6. If you will be traveling out of the state or country for your hunt, it is your responsibility to learn the rules, regulations and laws of any State or Country where you will be traveling to/from. This includes but is not limited to visas, passports, trophy importation, firearms, medical requirements, and legal restraints to entering/leaving a country. The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge INC is not responsible for any problems you may encounter during your travels. No refund of your purchase will be considered based on your lack of due diligence when planning your trip.
7. Items donated to and amounts paid to The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. as part of the auction do not qualify as charitable deductions. The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. is not a qualified charitable organization.
8. A representative of The Ultimate Waterfowlers Challenge Inc. will contact winning bidders and assist in arranging their trip.
