6-Day Kodiak Island Mt. Goat Hunt - Donated by Mike Munsey and Munsey's Bear Camp

Description: The Mountain Goat population on Kodiak Island has exploded in recent years. Their preference for high altitude cliffs along with their magnificent white coats, make them one of the most challenging and satisfying game animals in Alaska. Our goat hunts are conducted in ADF&G goat area RG480. This is a tough hunt involving considerable climbing, so hunters must be in excellent shape and willing to pack a reasonable amount of gear. Hunters fly into the main lodge from Kodiak and then climb up to spike camp. Spike camp is backcountry style tents with freeze-dried foods.
Hunt includes: one-on-one guide service, plus all tents, sleeping accommodations and food. Not included: airfare between Kodiak and main lodge, hunting license and goat tag.
Hunt dates October 10-15, 2024. Sitka Blacktail Deer may be added for a fee.
