Thaba Nyati Safaris has donated a South Africa 7 day 2024/2025 safari for one hunter for a Cape Buffalo Bull up to 40”. (Upgrade at $600/inch up to 43” and price for larger buffalo to be negotiated with outfitter). The safari lodge, just two hours northwest of Johannesburg, eliminates the need for lengthy airport drives or overnight stays in guest houses. You will be staying and hunting most of the animals on a 9000 acre, operational Buffalo breeding ranch running a herd of 700 plus Buffaloes, owned by Thaba Nyati Safaris, a family operated enterprise. This ancient area has been hunted since the Iron Age and still hosts Leopards, Hyena, Jackal and various other predators. Thaba Nyati Safaris has hunting concessions on 225,000 acres in close vicinity. The hunting area, centres around the town of Thabazimbi, Limpopo, on the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains. It showcases diverse terrain, from mountains to flat African bushveld, including mountains, rolling hills, open plains, and dense bush. During this African safari, you'll be transported on a equipped hunting vehicle to locate animals, then embark on foot stalks (depending on the hunters mobility). This challenging hunt spans mountainous, hilly, and open areas, promising the opportunity to harvest exceptional trophy animals in a customizable hunting package in South Africa. Hunting will start early in the morning and continue until about 11 am. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and a rest and then hunting will resume around 3 pm. This may be amended due to circumstances. Recommended rifle calibers for this plains game hunting package in South Africa are from between 7mm up to a .375. Hunting distances will be maximum 150 yards. Calibers for Buffalo start at 375 H+H and upwards. Thaba Nyati Safaris does small exclusive hunts. We do NOT mix different hunting groups. Invite your friends to join you.
One hunter is not allowed to purchase multiple Thaba Nyati Safaris hunts and combine them, nor combine these hunts with hunts of competing outfitters.
