Join Graham Sales (PHASA's Hunter of the Year in 2018) on this African safari in the beautiful Songimvelo Nature Reserve. Sonimvelo is the largest nature reserve in South Africa, has World Heritage status, and was the setting for the film "The Ghost and the Darkness."
The grassy plains of Songimvelo are home to herds of buffalo, blesbok, blue wildrbeest, impala, red hartebeest, springbok and zebra while within the wooded and hillside areas you will find giraffe, kudu, mountain reedbuck and elephant along with white rhino and leopard.
The hunt is for 2 hunters with 7 full days of free range plains game hunting.
Upgrades to include additional hunt days and hunters at $450/person per day and observers at $300/person per day. Hunters may select available animals at 2020 published trophy fees.
Included: Services of fully licensed experienced Professional Hunter and field staff. Lodging, all meals and soft drinks during your safari. Field preparation of trophies. $2000 towards trophy fees.
Not included: Arrival day fee $375/person, return day no charge. Government tax $1,095, Community Conservation levy $92/person/day, alcoholic beverages, gratuities to staff and Professional Hunter.

Shipping arrangements and payments are to be made solely by the winning bidder with the shipper of their choice. CA WSF assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No hard item merchandise will be delivered to buyers until CA WSF bank confirms full payment has been received. All hard item merchandise may not be shipped until 30 days after the close of auction. Any item not paid for or claimed after payment will be returned to CA WSF for disposition.

The following provisions will apply to Bidders participating in online bidding:
California Wild Sheep Foundation (“CA WSF”), is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization and was formed to promote and enhance increasing populations of indigenous wild sheep to California, to safeguard against the decline or extinction of such species, and to fund programs for professional management of these populations, keeping all administrative costs to a minimum. The items, trips, and “Conservation Permits” being offered for sale were allocated to CA WSF by the California Dept of Fish and Wildlife and the Alaska Dept of Fish and Game and other third parties.
Any bid made at a CA WSF online auction constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase and requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction, or upon terms mutually agreed upon by CA WSF and the bidder, prior to the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the seventh business day after the close of the auction.
Any failure of compliance with the provision above will result in the addition of any costs incurred because of non-compliance, plus the addition of interest at the rate of 1 percentage point per month, or portion thereof, that payment is late.
CA WSF strongly encourages Conservation Permit buyers to book with a licensed, registered guide/outfitter in the state of the permit. Use of non-licensed guide/outfitters may be prohibited by law. It is the legal responsibility of the permit buyer/holder to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, the game, outfitting, guiding, firearm use/importation or other applicable laws in the State.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, DOB, Credit card number. Your address will be verified by anAddress Verification System. All purchases over the amount of $10,000 will require a call back from CA WSF Auction Team for verification. PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL 3% PROCESSING FEE. Credit Card purchases can be processed through the CA WSF website www.cawsf.org.

ABSENTEE BID INFORMATION: If you are bidding on behalf of another individual, you will have to provide your name, email address and phone number, in addition to the above listed information for the actual permit buyer.
AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE Online bidding is now open and will close, in 10-minute increments, on Saturday, May 2nd beginning at 7:00 p.m. If a bidder places a bid within 2 minutes of the item closing then the items life will be extended for 2 minutes. This can happen up to 4 times.
