Donation: Giuseppe Carrizosa -Spain, SCI’s 2009 Int’l Professional Hunt of the Year is fully donating a hunt for 1 week for 1 hunter. Hunter can choose any trophy out of the four different varieties of Spanish ibex: Gredos, Beceite, Southeastern, or Ronda or two different chamois: Cantabrian or Pyrenean or Iberian mouflon or aoudad. Trophy fees are Government fees and are not included.
Date: This hunt can be taken in 2014 or 2015. Contact outfitter for dates.
Additional hunters: Additional hunters are welcome.
Non-hunters: Welcome.
Amenities included: Reception at the airport, clearance of guns with corresponding fees, all land transportation, 1x1 English speaking PH and local Game Scouts at each one of the areas, and full board accommodations.
Amenities not included: Hunter is responsible for trophy fees which are Government fees. Hunting insurance ($150), hunting licenses ($200/state), and VAT fee of 21% on total hunt value.
Accommodations: Hunters will be at beautiful lodges next to the hunting area with wonderful cuisine. Not in Madrid or any other cities while not hunting.
Special note: Giuseppe encourages you to bring your non hunting companion for $350 per day plus the VAT fee. Besides wonderful accommodations and cuisine, you can enjoy tourism, different activities and cultural visits. Hunt is on the Hunting Preserves, which are the most desired areas by any hunter. They are very vast pieces of free roaming land, similar to National Parks, directly managed by the game department, where very restricted hunting is allowed. Hunting at any of these areas is a real privilege. Scouting is done before the hunter gets there and most important, to the top quality of these hunting areas, one week is time enough to harvest 2-3 trophies. Hunter may extend the length of the hunt and go for any of the species that Spain has to offer. If lucky bidder wishes, we invite a second hunter to join him for the same amount sold at the WSF auction. In April 2007, Michael Bindon harvested with his bow the all time record for the Hunting Preserve Sierra de Gredos taken with any weapon. It is the fourth time in a row that one of Giuseppe’s hunters breaks this record (Archie Nesbitt in 2008, Tim Smith and Rob Gerstner in 2012 and Michael Bindon again in 2013!) Giuseppe will make this an unforgettable experience for the hunter and the non-hunting companion.
