Katahdin’s Shadow Outfitters and Lodge has donated a fully guided 6-day Black Bear hunt in Linneus Maine for one hunter. This hunt includes traditional hunting over bait as well as the opportunity to trap and harvest an additional bear. This hunt can been taken between August 27 to September 24, 2023 or can be moved to 2024.
Other hunters are welcome at $2,750 per person for bait hunting or $4,250 per person to include both bait hunting and trapping. Non-hunters are welcome to join for $1,500 per person.
License fees vary depending on the weapon used ($150-$250). A 45-Minute on-line course is required by the State of Maine for trapping at the cost of $35.00. Skinning, quartering and freezing are included and butchering is available at hunter’s cost. Lodging and three hot meals each day are included.

All firearms purchased shall be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of the purchaser’s choice. Purchaser is responsible for any associated costs and shipping.
