Yahk Mountain Outfitters’ exclusive territory is in southeast British Columbia bordering Montana and Idaho to the South. This 8-day 1:1 archery combo hunt will have you stalking Rocky Mountain elk, mule and whitetail deer, black bear and wolf. Vince and his team only take a limited number of clients each year in an effort to maximize the quality of animals within the territory.
You and your guide will hunt out of their camp located on Fish Lake. This camp is home to the main lodge, four hunter cabins, and a bath house with hot showers and flushing toilets. 4x4 and hiking will be your main transportation and Vince and his team use spot-and-stalk, calling and blinds to maximize your opportunities. Archery hunting regulations allow any elk and any mule deer, whitetails, bears and wolves are hunter’s choice. Weather plays a big role in elk hunting, but whatever the weather, you and your guide will still go out and hunt hard.
You will be picked up at the Cranbrook or Kalispell, MT airport. From there we will travel to the main camp which is about 1.5 hours from Cranbrook and 2.5 hours from Kalispell. All accommodations and meals are provided. Bring a non-hunting observer for $150/day USD. Meat and trophies will be field prepped and transported to Cranbrook; additional expediting will be your responsibility. Licenses, species tags and Wildlife Conservation Fee of $200 are not included.
