Mike and Karen Helbing, owners of the Double Deuce Ranch in Missouri and owners of the Wild Wildebeest Lodge in South Africa, are donating an 8-day Combo Hunt: 3-night/2-day Missouri Pheasant-Quail-Rabbit Hunt with a 5-day South African Safari. Note that both hunts must be taken.
The Missouri Pheasant-Quail-Rabbit hunt includes 3 nights/2days of lodging, meals, and all beverages for 1 hunter. The hunt is for up to 8 quail, 2 rooster pheasants, and 6 rabbits per day (all wild game). Also included in the donation is use of our hunting dogs and game cleaning. Additional hunters are welcome at a cost of $1250 per hunter. Observers are welcome at $100 per day. Not included in the donation is the hunting license (approximately $11.00 per day), and gratuities. Hunt may be taken in December 2019 or January 2020. This is a fully guided hunt.
The South African Hunting Safari is for 2 or 4 hunters (2x1). Included are 5 days of daily rates (lodging, meals, and all beverages), and $1000 toward trophy fees. Of the 5 days, 1 day will include an afternoon of bird hunting for dove, francolin, and guineafowl which will be cooked over a hot fire and served while in camp. If upgraded to 10 hunting days, an additional $2000 toward trophy fees will also be included. Not included in the donation is airfare to/from Johannesburg, day of arrival and day of departure, conservation fees, VAT (value added tax), dip and pack if taxidermy is done in the U.S., and gratuities. Hunt may be taken from March through October 2019, 2020, or 2021.
With this donation, Woods & Water Taxidermy in Conroe, Texas is offering up to a $500 credit per hunter toward taxidermy work done by their company (applied as 15% on shoulder mounts/rugs and 10% on European mounts – excludes back hides). Contact Rowdy Woodson at 281-296-9458 or skullmnt@aol.com.

The Outfitter/Safari Operator may require an additional deposit to hold hunting dates once they are confirmed. The deposit may be used for additional days, trophy fees, or expenses you incur with the hunt. The deposit may not be returned in the event of a cancellation; however, it may be carried over if rescheduling is necessary. Hunt dates are the responsibility of the hunter and the Outfitter/Safari Operator and are handled between those two parties.

Return Policy: All sales are final. NO exchanges or refunds on any item! Every effort has been made to ensure the quality of items; however, we cannot guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the buyer.
Hunt Donations: In reference to hunting donations, some specific dates are set by the donors; it is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements regarding dates and application for any required paperwork for licenses and permits. It is at the discretion of the outfitter whether or not to honour the purchase if no contact has been made within the 30-day limit. Additionally, the outfitter is under no obligation to facilitate a hunt outside of the timeframe indicated in the hunt description. Please do not purchase the hunt if you can not utilize the hunt within the time frame indicated in the hunt description!
Firearms: All firearms purchases must be picked up within 60 days of the auction
Shipping: Buyer are responsible for the shipping costs for any item purchased.
Live Auction
The auctioneer will facilitate bidding on live auction items, through both bids on the floor, and bids via this online hunting auction website. In case of a disputed bid, the bid may be re-opened at the discretion of the auctioneer whose decision is final. The Chapter reserves the right of refusal on any item.
The donor or outfitter is notified of the winning bidder by the association. All online winning bidders will have the credit card processed immediately following the sale of the item and will receive an invoice regarding their purchase within 15 days of the close of the auction by email from the Online Hunting Auction Website. It is the purchaser's responsibility to contact the donor within 30 days and make all the necessary arrangements.
