++“U.S. PROPERTY” marked Colt Model 1903 semi-auto pistol, .32 caliber, 3.75” barrel, British proofed, S/N 565212, parkerized finish, checkered wood medallion grips in two-piece Kraft style cardboard box with Instructions. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing the majority of its parkerized finish, crisp action and markings including the crown over BNP proofing; fine bore and fine grips. Per a notation in Schwing’s Standard Catalog of Military Firearms, During WW II, Colt supplied about 8,000 Colt pocket pistols in various calibers to England in blued and parkerized finish marked “U.S. Property”.
