9-Day Yukon hunt for Moose and Grizzly
Shawn Raymond & Don Loewen of Yukon Big Game Outfitters have graciously donated a combo hunt to be taken during the moose rut from September 13-21 or 21-29 of 2020, bidders to confirm open dates with outfitter. Trophy fees for one Alaska Yukon moose and one Interior Grizzly are included in the donation. This is an exclusive guide area, meaning no other guides can bring clients in. Yukon Big Game Outfitters have hosted Tom Miranda, Melissa Bachman and many other hunters at their lodge and boast an excellent success rate of 95% with an opportunity rate of 100% for trophy Alaska Yukon moose. The 21,600 square mile territory is covered using float planes flown by both Shawn & Don for access to one of the many river boat camps. Accommodations are in comfortable, heated cabins and spike camps using heated wall tents. Meals are provided as well as all equipment needed to complete your trip including; 1 on 1 guide service to each client. Fly into Whitehorse and make the trip into camp. With 29 years of experience behind them, Shawn, Don and their crew will make this a trip that provides memories to last a lifetime including a successful harvest. Hunting their giant concession, they have produced bulls in the 55 to 65-inch range every year. You can also harvest a wolf or black bear at no additional charge, if the opportunity presents itself, and maybe even do a little fishing. Extra days can be added if available for $1500 per day (pre-arrange). Field prep of trophy is included. Due to logistics, meat from the harvest is provided to the First Nations. Not included are before and after expenses in hotel in Whitehorse, non-resident license & tags $817.00 and 5% GST, float plane charter $2900, taxidermy, airfare to Whitehorse, tips or gratuities. Bring along a non-hunting companion for $450 per day plus charter rate ($2000). Additional hunters are welcome to book a combo hunt for $34,500.00.
