Bertus Gerhardt of Dumukwa Safaris invites two hunters to experience an outstanding 9-day, 2x1 guided Golden Wildebeest hunt. Each hunter will have the chance to harvest one Golden Wildebeest, with the method of take being hunters' choice. Schedule this thrilling hunt with the outfitter for open dates between April and October of 2025 or 2026. Dumukwa's hunting area is located at the northern point of South Africa, on the Limpopo River, across from the Thuli block in Botswana. These areas boast a high population of species, and great quality trophies are harvested each year. Dumukwa Safaris utilizes privately owned concessions with exclusive hunting rights, adapting hunting methods to each hunter's preferences and physical abilities, including hunting from blinds, vehicles, and walk-and-stalk. The vast areas allow for spotting animals, tracking, and stalking. Each hunting day, you'll be accompanied by a professional hunter and a tracker/skinner, who are knowledgeable and dedicated to enhancing your overall experience. The lodge and deck locations are strategically chosen near natural gathering areas of local wildlife, where you might see elephants, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, and plains game while enjoying your morning coffee or evening sundowners. Included are lodge accommodations, meals, beverages, laundry, airport transfers, 2x1 guide service, trophy credit for Golden Wildebeest for each hunter, and field prep. Additional hunters can join for $500/day plus trophy fees, and non-hunters for $250/day. The hunt may be upgraded to include a Wildebeest slam or extended for $400 per day plus trophy fees; see outfitter for more details. Not included are before/after hunt accommodations, firearm permits, dipping/packing charges, shipping of trophies, and gratuities. Arrival/departure point is Polokwane Airport.
